What is curling?
Curling is a team game played on ice. Each of the 4-person team throws 2 stones from one end of the ice to the other, alternating with the opposition.
Although the true origin of curling remains a mystery, there is no doubt that the Scots developed it into the game as we know it today. Recent innovations to curling, such as light stones, now make it possible for children as young as 6 years of age to play.
